StudentCrowd has appointed Louise Bena as Vice President of Real Estate, a newly created role designed to strengthen collaboration with the PBSA sector and support the company's continued growth following its recent £7 million Series A funding round.
Louise joins StudentCrowd with extensive experience across purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), Build to Rent (BTR) and the wider living sector. Having worked closely with operators, investors and developers throughout her career, she brings a deep understanding of the challenges facing accommodation providers and the changing expectations of residents.
The appointment reflects StudentCrowd's continued growth and increasing influence within the sector. Trusted by 29 of the UK's 30 largest PBSA operators, the business has become a leading source of market intelligence and verified student insight, powering decision-making across PBSA. By combining trusted data with authentic resident feedback, StudentCrowd provides operators, investors, developers and advisors with a neutral, independent view they can trust to make more informed decisions.
In her role, Louise will work across the UK and European student living sectors to support StudentCrowd's continued growth and help shape the future direction of the platform. As part of the executive leadership team, she will also play a key role in ensuring StudentCrowd remains at the forefront of industry innovation, championing the use of student insight and data to support better decision-making and enhance the student accommodation experience.
